In our series Hope in Exile, we will examine the cycle of exile (Orientation, Disorientation, Reorientation) and what the Psalms tell us about what our relationship with God can and should look like; on the mountaintops and in the valleys of our lives. Tonight, SM Director Nick Mercer, looked at Psalm 23 and we saw how the Psalms teach us that reorientation in our relationship with God requires us to reset, recommit, and remember.

We talked about how Jesus is the foundation we build our lives on and as we build our spiritual homes on that foundation, we need to build by knowing, doing, and living within God's will.

Welcome Home! Kicking off this new school year we wanted to begin with the importance of building a spiritual home and we are starting where all good builders begin, with the foundation. SM Director Nick Mercer spoke from 1 Corinthians 3:10-17,21-23. We talked about how Jesus is our foundation and as we dive into what building our spiritual home looks like, we need to build with the right foundation, the right materials, and with the right perspective.

Finishing our series "Meeting Jesus" where we look at 4 people in the Bible who met with Jesus after his resurrection, but before he ascended. In each of these meetings, we will discover how their meeting with the risen Lord affected and changed the trajectory of their lives and just how we can use their meetings with Jesus to impact our lives as we too seek to meet the real Jesus!

This week SM Director Nick Mercer spoke from John 21 where Jesus meets Peter and we see that the Gospel leads us to Community, Forwardness, and Repentance.
