It's been an incredible Western Hockey League ( WHL ) season ! The Seattle Thunderbirds are on a mission and on a quest to capture another Ed Chynoweth Cup ! Anything less than a 2022-2023 WHL Championship will be a disappointment but we know it won't be easy ! After capturing the United States Division with a 54 win season and 111 standings points, Seattle is the #1 seed in the Western Conference. #2 overall in the Western Hockey League as the Winnipeg Ice over in the east finished a tad higher in points. Seattle swept the lowest seed Kelowna Rockets in 4 games in round 1 and now they get a hungry Prince George Cougars squad from Prince George B.C. Canada. It won't be a cake walk with the travel obstacles and a good Cougar offense. B.C. is some 6 hours plus north of Kent, WA. During this all Thunderbirds pod I’m joined by Denise Milstead for TBIRDS Truck Talk ! We are pumped as first year season ticket holders of the Seattle Thunderbirds and have had a blast during the 2022-2023 season ! We will discuss the team and the highlights of our year attending !
