On June 4th 2004 Marvin Heemeyer drove his modified Kumatsu Bulldozer through the wall of his muffler shop in small town Granby Colorado.  His home built tank went on a rampage across town destroying buildings and shooting at police officers . 2 hours later He would have caused 7 million in damage with over 200 rounds of ammunition being fired at him over the course of the day. He has been hailed as a working class hero who fought back against an oppressive government but in reality he was nothing but a lonely asshole with too much free time. I am going to tell the actual story and tear down the myth that hails him as a hero of the working people.

Paul Williams has broken the biggest crime stories in Ireland for the past 30 years. He is the author of 10 bestselling books such as  The General and Murder inc , the first was made into a movie. 

Hes worked for the Sunday world , The Irish News Of The World , The Irish Independent and also co hosted the News Talk Breakfast show

He researched and presented a special one-hour documentary on the international drug trade for the BBC World Service. In 2013 he won a string of awards for his Anglo Tapes Investigation , he spearheaded a hugely successful nationwide campaign which exposed the true extent of rural crime.

Paul holds an MA (Hons) in Criminology and is also the recipient of the Department of Justice award for outstanding academic achievement for his research work.

We discuss how he got into journalism , backlash to his work , and discuss some heavy hitters in Irish crime past and present.

Two of Ireland's few serial killers , John Shaw and Geoffrey Evans ,were on the run from English rape cases when they decided to flee to Ireland and enact their plan of "Killing one bird every week" fortunately they were stopped before they could enact their plan but not before 2 young women were viciously raped and murdered by the pair.

On Episode 15 I do an interview I have planned on doing for a long time , I Interview Cryptozoologist Ronan Coghlan who was recently featured in a Shiver documentary about the legendary "Dobhar Chu" cryptid of Ireland. He has written many books such as The encyclopedia of of Arthurian legends , Mystery animals of Ireland, A dictionary of cryptozoology and also books on the Holy Grail and Fairy beliefs. Trolls have existed for thousands of years and are a staple of Nordic mythology. These non christian , rock throwing monsters are interesting but terrifying when you imagine running into one on a hiking trip in Sweden.
