The Snuff Box Podcast

On June 4th 2004 Marvin Heemeyer drove his modified Kumatsu Bulldozer through the wall of his muffler shop in small town Granby Colorado.  His home built tank went on a rampage across town destroying buildings and shooting at police officers . 2 hours later He would have caused 7 million in damage with over 200 rounds of ammunition being fired at him over the course of the day. He has been hailed as a working class hero who fought back against an oppressive government but in reality he was nothing but a lonely asshole with too much free time. I am going to tell the actual story and tear down the myth that hails him as a hero of the working people.

On Episode 16 I do my first episode on Irish Crime. Two of Ireland's few serial killers , John Shaw and Geoffrey Evans ,were on the run from English rape cases when they decided to flee to Ireland and enact their plan of "Killing one bird every week" fortunately they were stopped before they could enact their plan but not before 2 young women were viciously raped and murdered by the pair.

On Episode 15 I do an interview I have planned on doing for a long time , I Interview Cryptozoologist Ronan Coghlan who was recently featured in a Shiver documentary about the legendary "Dobhar Chu" cryptid of Ireland. He has written many books such as The encyclopedia of of Arthurian legends , Mystery animals of Ireland, A dictionary of cryptozoology and also books on the Holy Grail and Fairy beliefs. Ronan edits the American blog of the CFZ, a circumstance brought about by the absence of suitable American editors.  This is essentially a blog of links rather than articles, as it goes out nearly every day.  It deals with all aspects of cryptozoology together with anomalous events, natural history and conservation.  You can access this at cfz-usa.blogspot.co.uk

I ask him questions about his childhood , the Dobhar Chu , fairies and his recent documentary appearance.

On episode 14 we go into the deep misty forests of Scandinavia to discuss its most mysterious and iconic creature , The Troll ( or Jotnar )

Trolls have existed for thousands of years and are a staple of Nordic mythology. These non christian , rock throwing monsters are interesting but terrifying when you imagine running into one on a hiking trip in Sweden.

Shortest episode ive done for a while. Should be a good palette cleanser after the cesspool that was Elliot Rodger.  If any  of my information or pronunciation was incorrect please do not hesitate to hit me up and ill correct it in the next episode.

On episode 12 I finish my series on Elliot Rodger. I cover his infamous youtube videos and go over his "Day Of Retribution" with huge help from Coop of course.

Elliot Rodger is noted as one of the first very public Incels which is a community of people that believe they are entitled to sex and have hateful ideologies towards women etc.

This is a look at the man behind the tragedy, where he came from , to where we are now.

Everyday our TV screens and phones inform us of shootings and killings all over the world. The people behind these are usually incredibly disturbed and interesting to look into. One of which was the Isla Vista killings of May 23rd 2014 , where a 22 year old Elliot Rodger decided to wreak his revenge on the hot "Chads and Stacys" that have blocked his sexual advances for his entire life. He called this event his "Day of Retribution" , although it did not turn out as he planned......

He’s noted as one of the first very public Incels which is a community of people that believe they are entitled to sex and have hateful ideologies towards women etc.

This is a look at the man behind the tragedy, where he came from , to where we are now.

In the corner of your room , watching you from the darkness , shadow people wait. But others do more , they sit on your chest , torment you in broad daylight or even take advantage of you in  a "birds and they bees" kinda way.

On this 3 hour long "Halloween Special" of the snuffbox podcast I am going to be covering the spooky topic of sleep demons. I go through a few of the most iconic beings that frick with our sleep , I call in multiple people  to come and do interviews about their own unique experiences with these entities , read some stories with da bois and even do an interview with the owner of the shadow people archives website . Susan Fowler.

Happy Halloween , and make sure to go jump over a bonfire in a extremely flammable witch costume :)
