Oh Lord, will you not revive us again so that your people may rejoice in you?

Apathy can whisper and shout in the stale or weary days. Will you listen?

Do you long for the nearness of God? Do you trust His character in the midst of joy and difficulties? Do you need to know Him more SO THAT you trust Him more?

It's amazing that God allows us, the Church, to put His power and truth on display not only to those around us on earth, but even to the rulers in authorities in heaven.

You may predict you're about to hear a “so that” to cheer you on or ignite an action and response. You're not...but it's still a good question.

There is true and lasting rest, hope, peace, and joy found only in the presence of Jesus--God with us.

After a couple months of significant health struggles, the fire in my belly to share the purpose, hope, and truth I’ve discovered tracing SO THAT through the Bible is burning once again. And this passage of Scripture helps to describe that reignition. 

How is David like a little child? He reminds His Father of what He has promised.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: God’s Word is life and breath. You need Him and you need His Word just as much as you need your next breath. And today’s focus passage is one of the places where I have learned and experienced that the most.
