In a world where we have the option to "reach" millions of people with a single post, why do we actually try? 

The truth is, you will likely never reach all of the audience and even if you did, they aren't likely to care about what you have to say. 

So the illusion of social media is that we can market to the masses. The truth is, we shouldn't be trying.
