An Awesome Listen

I was voluntarily provided this free review copy audiobook by the author, narrator, or publisher and found it very entertaining. This is the first book in this series, with its interesting characters and suspenseful plot, I'll be listening to the next book. It's like riding a rollercoaster following Rowen's voyage into her new life along with her mentor Delgado. An exciting tale to listen to while travelling.

Huge cliffhanger

How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?

The first half of the book where the characters are being developed felt a little slow. That part could've been made more crisp and fast. And certain phrases are repeated multiple times, which was kind of annoying. The use of weird words that needed me run to urban dictionary was off putting. And the romance felt forced.

Could you see The Society being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?

This book ended with a huge cliffhanger, something that tv producers love. So yea, I can see this turning into a tv series.

Warning...this is a cliffhanger!

Although this book has many good key elements for a great paranormal series I was a little let down. The first half; although had good character development and gave a good understanding of her world were people with psychic abilities are hunted by a special branch of the government called Sigma, it was all done at a slow pace.
