The Song of Moses - Coda Show Notes Summary: It is always a good idea to view current events through the lens of Scripture. The Apostle Paul set the example we should follow concerning Israel, stating over and over again: as it is written. He cites the prophets concerning Israel’s blindness and ultimate rejection of the Rock, including a prophecy given to Moses. This same prophecy is mentioned in the Revelation during the wrath of God, pointing us back to consider what is going on with the nation God judges then restores. We conclude our four-part series on the Song of Moses.

Takeaway: In the Song of Moses in Exodus 15 we see the Lord referring to His people as redeemed, pointing again to those in Israel who turn from transgression. Similar to the last verse of the Song of Moses in Deuteronomy 32, the Lord declares mercy again upon His people. When the Lord returns, he comes to Zion and to those who turn from transgression. God’s Israel will be those Jews who believe on Jesus as Messiah, and make their national confession. His new covenant is forever, and it will be with Israel.
