This song was sung right after the Israelites walked through dry land across the Red Sea. Our testimonies declare that God has delivered us, and that He alone is our salvation. We have nothing to boast in ourselves. The grace of God is the only source of our salvation. It’s only by the cross of Christ that we are saved. This deliverance was a gift a God. Do you look to God as your salvation, song and strength? Or do you think you are able to deliver yourself? Apart from the grace of God we are dead in our trespasses. We cannot earn the forgiveness of our sins. Be convinced of what God can do through Christ. There is no limit to what God can deliver you from. God is for you! Put your faith in Christ, not in yourself. What is your source of salvation? Join in the song of Moses. The work of God doesn’t end with our deliverance though. Once God delivers us, we don’t take over from there. Through many tribulations you will enter the Kingdom. God is able to make a way before you. Do you believe this, regardless of what stands before you or behind you? Do you trust that the One who redeemed you will also bring you to the end? Christ is the founder, as well as the perfecter of our faith. He is the only One who can bring you all the way. May we never tire of hearing the saving work of God. Repeat and sing of the cross of Christ over and over again. What is your song? To whom do you praise? Reflect upon God’s deliverance to you and sing a song of praise to God who has brought you through. May this increase your faith!
