Singing has played a pivotal role in the history of humanity. Songs have been sung to show joy, encourage victory in battle, demonstrate sadness, and display a host of other emotional experiences. The most important use of song is in glorifying God and the Bible records several that have been sung for that purpose. In fact, the first and last recorded songs in the Bible demonstrate how God can be trusted because of His glory and power. This study focuses on a better understanding of the Song of Moses and the Song of the Lamb and the lessons they teach to modern worshipers.
