The Sons of Schmidt Podcast, hosted by Mike Meals and Brandon Zimmerman, is happy to fill that role! This is Episode 4 of the 3rd season of the show. 
To get things started, the Sons recap their trip to Arlington where the Buckeyes knocked off (at the time) #15 TCU. While the Buckeyes were able to come away with a win, there was plenty to talk about and for Urban Meyer to fix this week. 
In the 2nd segment, Brandon and Mike take a quick look at Tulane, and what the Buckeyes will be doing this weekend. Spoiler Alert: Tulane is not very good. 
As always, the show ends with the weekly ‘Son of a Schmidt’ and Schmidt Picks. Mike finally breaks his show silence on a matter everyone has talked about this season. Brandon has a break check for Buckeye Nation that everyone should hear.

Midweek bowl games always throw off the regular schedule. This week’s Rose Bowl has delayed the Sons of Schmidt, but have no fear for we are here!
This week, the Sons put together a shorter show for the shorter week. There are no segment breakdowns, just a full-blown Buckeye discussion on the Rose Bowl Game, the passing of the torch from the 2018 Buckeyes to the 2019 Buckeyes, and even Josh Fields.
There are a few announcements to be made, in place of the Son of a Schmidt. You’ll want to know what is going on with the guys.

The Sons of Schmidt S3E19: Winter Break

With it being the Holiday Season, we want to wish you the happiest holiday of all…Happy Sons of Schmidt Thursday to you and yours!

As sad as it makes some of you, Brandon Zimmerman has returned to his co-host seat this week. However, this episode is HEAVY on Rose Bowl content.

The Sons spend an entire segment looking at each side of the ball for the Rose Bowl. Segment One is the Washington Offense verses the Ohio State Defense. In Segment Two, we look at the other side of the ball.

The guys also address an oft-asked #AskSoS question this week, regarding the highly touted UW Defense.

We change up the Son of a Schmidt! segment this week, and go true old-fashioned back-and-forth on a highly debated topic.

We close with some Schmidt Picks of a bowl game variety.

Now that the Ohio State news cycle has slowed down just a bit, we can finally get to the season wrap up. As the Sons planned to do last week, the season ending awards are given out in segment one.

The Sons of Schmidt: S3E16 Bowl Week 1

Relax Buckeye fans. We know this has been a slow new week, but it’s Sons of Schmidt Thursday and we’re here to help!

To start this week’s episode, the guys finally have something to say about the College Football Playoffs.

After a break, The Sons take an unexpected look at the Ohio State tenure of Urban Meyer. It wasn’t really planned as this week’s show was in pre-production, but the walk down memory lane is a fun one.
