I discovered that our souls are eternal, contrary to the popular opinion that when people die the lights go out. The notion that when humans die the lights go out is based on the Newtonian and Cartesian philosophies that humans are a machine. We are not a machine. We are a soul looking to expand its awareness by incarnating on a planet like Earth.
