You’re running a marathon in a world that asks you to sprint. It’s no wonder you feel exhausted. But what if the answer isn’t to push harder? What if it's to simply pause? In this article, we’ll explore the power of the soul shine pause as a moment of stillness where you can reconnect with yourself, without judgment or the need to be perfect.
My beautiful sister, let’s talk about that feeling of being overwhelmed and disconnected from yourself. You are running a marathon in a world that asks you to sprint. It’s no wonder you feel exhausted. But what if I told you that the answer isn’t to push harder? What if the answer is to simply pause?
I am not talking about a break. I am not talking about a chore. I am talking about a soul shine pause. It is a moment of stillness where you can be present with yourself, without judgment or the need to be perfect. This pause isn't about avoiding work. It's about creating a moment to listen to your inner voice before you react to the demands of the world.
Your soul shine pause can be as simple as taking a deep breath before responding to a text. It can be sitting in your car for five minutes before walking into your house. Or it can be a moment of quiet while your coffee brews. In these moments of stillness, you can hear what you need, and you can give yourself permission to honor it.
The journey back to yourself is not a sprint. It’s a marathon. And your sacred pause is the fuel that will sustain you on your journey.
If you can give yourself a few minutes, I want to invite you to pause for a moment. Find a quiet space, get comfortable, and gently close your eyes. Take a deep breath in, and as you exhale, release any tension you may be holding in your body. Breathe in peace, and breathe out any worries or anxieties you may be carrying. On your next inhale, breathe in a sense of calm, and as you exhale, release the need to be perfect. You can find your way back to yourself, one gentle breath at a time.
If you would like a little help, I have included a guided meditation for inner peace. It’s only 4:28 long, just long enough to bring you back to calm. If you can take a mindful moment now. Invest in yourself. You deserve it.
In light, love & soul shine stillness,
AC
