The Soulful Planet episodes
- The Soulful Planet: Episode 1
Welcome to episode 1 of Hearn Gadbois's, The Soulful Planet. Gadbois is an artist whose skill set works hard to keep up with his curiosity and imagination. In his work as a percussionist, composer for dance and film, instrument designer/ builder, visual artist, session musician and teacher, his path has crossed those of Yoko Ono, Patti Smith, The Master Musicians of Jajouka, Meredith Monk, amongst many others.

About The Soulful Planet
From the publisher's feed
I accept it as a given. All music is world music.
Created at home, by humans, with a major assist from the Animal, Vegetable, and Mineral Kingdoms, the Waters, and the ever-breathing Atmosphere.
I have enjoyed a lifetime’s worth of music that has inspired me and moved me deeply, as well, I have slogged through much that is mediocre or simply uninteresting to me.
I seek those things so exceptional they stop me in my tracks. Or rather, they seek me, burrowing into my soul like divinely-inspired ear-worms. I play nothing A-I generated, no Billy Joel and certainly no Czech Country Western
