The importance of having conversations within our community in the midst of all we are experiencing can't be emphasized enough. While our trauma doesn't necessarily look the same, it is imperative that we recognize black women need the world and more specifically black men to acknowledge their trauma, see and be there for them in the same ways black women are here for black men.
