Show Prolog:The Source of My Side Eye is a podcast created by two old friends from the athletic fields of the University of Missouri in the late 90’s. Adrian (AC Slim) and Joe Jeff were members of a previous show known as the Brothers Breaking Bread, or the “Triple B Pod”. Striking out on their own, they elected to keep some of the trappings of the BBB with a few twists to refresh the format. The plan is to discuss the various issues in society from the perspective of black professionals. Many provoke a side-eye, while others encourage the listener to “Fix your face” and remember to laugh at the absurdities as well.
