One of the most notorious rapists in the St. Louis area was Dennis Rabbitt, starting his crimes in 1988. He was said to have raped anywhere from 16 to 30 girls and women, with ages ranging from teens to the elderly. Rabbitt was an opportunist rapist, who avoided being apprehended for a decade.
