This week, we shift back to Indira and TRO, 12 years after she and Philip revitalized the centuries-old organization. TRO has taken down dozens of wealthy power brokers, but a few remain, and one piece of Indira’s plan remains out of reach. Soon, Indira and Beckett's worlds begin to find common threads. 

After seeing her son in the cave at the same stage of life as he was when she left Earth, Beckett leads her crew further into the cave trying to find him. They find a path that appears to go on for quite a while and they follow it. While moving through the cave, Beckett and John find some common ground, before the group encounters a new danger.

We rejoin Beckett, Gabriel, Molly, and John on Calbrisyn in 2045. They reach the cave, but once they arrive, Beckett encounters more visions of her past. They explore the cave a bit, but ultimately, Beckett’s thoughts take her back to when she was selected for the Spaceship Discovery mission, and the painful effects of her decision to accept the job offer. 

After learning about Beckett's childhood and how she came to be captain of the Spaceship Discovery crew, we shift gears and go back to Earth, one year after Beckett and crew launched. We learn about Indira Sharpe and her pursuit to resurrect a centuries-old organization called The Reset Order, as she seeks to reset the memories of society's most wealthy and powerful people, and the fill the power vacuum they leave to control the world using her own vision.  

In Part 2, memories of Beckett's childhood come flooding back to her after she shockingly sees her mother standing in the desert, while she and the rest of the crew are on their way to the cave. We get a look at Beckett's upbringing, her relationship with her parents, and what gave rise to her career and life trajectory. 

Rowan Beckett and her crewmates continue to battle the mysterious Wind of Calbrisyn. The group embarks on a dangerous journey into the desert to what they hope will be a safe haven from the Wind. In the midst of all of this, Beckett continues to deal with John’s insubordination, as she and Gabriel grow closer.

After the Spaceship Discovery is attacked by a mysterious, invisible force, Beckett manages to maneuver the craft away from it, but the crew crash lands in the middle of tundra-desert. After three of the crew members are swept away and seemingly killed by the mysterious force shortly after landing, Beckett, along with Gabriel, Molly, and John must devise a plan to either subdue the invisible entity or evade it long enough to make their way to the mountains several miles away.

A brief introduction to the story and the characters by the creator, writer, and narrator of The Space Between Vice and Virtue, Brent Tracy. After the introduction, Brent presents the prologue of the story to set the tone for Episode 1: Arrival.
