Once, every young lad, at some point, dreamed of travelling in space. Whether it be travelling to distant galaxies to explore and be a hero of some epic space battles (or wars), or staying closer to home as a humble astronaut the thought of going to space was a must when we grew up. And the coolest way to get there was via the space shuttle. That winged vehicle that looked more like a plane than a rocket ship.
