The Spanish Flu and Francis Grimke (with Jon Rees)

Listen Later

Where can we go to get help about how to think through a pandemic?  How about to a 102-year-old sermon from right after the 1918 Spanish flu?  Francis Grimke, a pastor in the late 19th and early 20th centuries preached a surprisingly-crazy-relevant sermon relating to his observations of how he processed through the Spanish Flu epidemic when it hit Washington D.C.  Pastor Jon Rees (of Faith Baptist Church in Washington, IA) joins Clint to discuss this message and what we can learn from it in the midst of our current times.
