Vennie Gore serves as Executive Vice President for Administration at Michigan State University, a role he assumed in March 2025. A seasoned leader with a strong commitment to operational excellence and inclusive processes, Vennie oversees the university’s central Human Resources department, Infrastructure Planning and Facilities, Information Technology, the Office of Sustainability, Residential and Hospitality Services, and the Inclusive Campus Initiative. He also shares oversight of the Department of Police and Public Safety and University Licensing.

With more than two decades of leadership experience in higher education, Vennie has played a pivotal role in shaping MSU’s strategic vision and fostering a campus environment that prioritizes student success and institutional excellence. Recognized nationally for his contributions, he has received numerous accolades, including the American College Personnel Association Diamond Award and the Association of College and University Housing Officers-International James C. Grimm Leadership and Service Award.

His deep institutional knowledge and commitment to MSU’s mission continue to drive excellence across the university’s administrative functions.
