Art rockers Colin Newman of Wire and Malka Spigel of Minimal Compact join Joan Sarro to talk about about their separate and collaborative music projects,. Wire were seminal to UK post-punk, American hardcore, and shoegaze; Minimal Compact toured extensively in the 80s, in true punk-rock fashion, while playing more complex music and gaining popularity throughout Europe. Both bands are still active and Colin and Malka collaborate on projects Githead and Immersion. They show no signs of slowing down and have as much passion for the intersection of music as art as ever
