The New birth is more than an activity man has to engage in in order to receive a status from God. The New both is simply about birth. The New Creation came out of God at New birth- it is all about God. The New Creation is born of the Word and the Spirit.
the Holy Spirit is not only God and a person, He is also life. Emphatically speaking, the new creature does not and cannot have a life outside the Holy Spirit. Outside the Holy Spirit, the new creature is dead.
