Being Is the New Doing Podcast

The Spiritual Entrepreneur Paradox

Listen Later

There’s a specific kind of exhaustion I recognize immediately in the entrepreneurs who come to me.

They meditate. They journal. They’ve done the retreats, the somatic work, the human design deep-dives. Their consciousness has genuinely shifted.

And their business is still running on the old fuel.

Hustling all day after a morning practice. Trusting the process on Sunday, micromanaging on Monday. Deeply knowing that there’s a different way to operate, and still finding themselves back in survival mode by Tuesday afternoon.

This is the paradox I see most often in spiritually-attuned entrepreneurs.

It has everything to do with the gap between what they’ve understood and what they’ve actually embodied — it has nothing to do with how much inner work they’ve done.

Understanding something and living it are two completely different things.

You can know that abundance is an internal state and still freeze when it’s time to send an invoice. You can believe in your body’s wisdom and still override it the moment a client calls at 9pm. You can preach alignment and still say yes to the project that was wrong from the first conversation.

I know this gap intimately. I lived in it for years.

What shifted for me — and what I help my clients navigate — is learning to close that gap. Practically. In the actual decisions, the actual calendar and the actual way a business day is structured.

Spiritual principles are real. They just need a bridge to become operational.

That bridge is what the FLUIDE method is built on — not more practices to add to your morning, but a way of running your business that reflects what you actually believe. Where your intuition informs your strategy. Where your rhythm shapes your calendar. Where the two dimensions of who you are stop competing and start working together.

This is the marriage at the heart of Being Is the New Doing — consciousness and commerce, not as opposites to balance, but as a single coherent way of operating.
