The Spiritual side of depression-in this episode we discuss how depression is also a very real side effect of the awakening process, how that looks in the body and how having a different perspective, in regards to mental health, can actually bring so much relief and acceptance to some very real and often heavy emotions. Stasia describes the physiology behind what she likes to call “belief detoxes” and how to avoid getting stuck in a loop. It's safe to say that most people will experience depression at some time in their lives.  I found that and it's always been a catalyst for the most powerful growth in my life. I can see how it's served me and how it can serve to push us to grow, evolve, transmute and heal despite being really uncomfortable. And a side note, I was sick with the flu when we recorded this, but it was such an important conversation and I am glad I followed through an we had it! We explore the gifts and also the blessings that can emerge from hitting rock bottom. So don't ever give up when you are in a dark patch. Find the support you need and just know, it does get better!
