Today in this episode, Alaina and Matt remember Ram Dass's teaching and how it touched their lives. Ram Dass aka Richard Alpert was born April 6, 1931 in Newton Massachusetts. Ram Dass is known for his transformation from Harvard Professor to spiritual teacher. It was Ram Dass’s aim to merge with the spiritual heart, the source of all things. He dedicated his life to the service and devotion of his guru, Neem Karoli BaBa. His encounter with Neem Karoli Baba left him changed and inspired to help spread Neem Karoli’s message of love and service. He has authored several books like, Be Here Now, Be Love Now and Walking Each Other Home. Up until his final days he continued to speak from the heart and share his deep awareness of the self.
