The room peels away, and she finds herself in a 1959 radio studio where a young woman with her mother's face is recording the master reel. But the woman is not her mother—she is a copy, the first copy, and she is terrified. Luna realizes the station was born from a single act of violence: a woman forced to sing until her voice became static. The copy begs Luna to finish what she started, to rewind the lullaby all the way back to the moment before the first note. Luna reaches for the recording console, and the copy whispers that if she succeeds, she will not survive the rewrite.
