Impactful Changemakers

The Sponsorship Expert - Mariah Monique

Listen Later

On today's episode, we spoke with Mariah Monique, Founder of The Sponsorship Catalyst.  A California-based business equipping mid-sized nonprofit organizations to position, package, and pitch their events to corporate sponsors, so they can eliminate self-funding events while increasing their impact.

Mariah is an experienced funder and businesswoman with over eight years of building strategic partnerships and four years of elevating brand awareness and reputation through sponsorships. She understands what is attractive to sponsors and how to position organizations to secure funding through the power of words.  She has elevated hundreds of sponsorship proposals and decks, contributed to the decision-making process for fund allocation, negotiated brand benefits, and built a brand reputation and awareness through sponsorships and partnership strategy. Her motto is, "Closing the knowledge gap so YOU can increase your impact!"

Mariah has helped over a dozen beginning to intermediate nonprofit organizations understand the value of leveraging sponsorships that have resulted in thousands of dollars secured for community impact.

In this episode, we discuss the responsibility of nonprofit leaders and how they can position themselves to be prepared for sponsorship, the importance of funders, grantmakers, and other funding decision-makers attending the Equity in Philanthropy Summit.

Mariah can be reached on Instagram @thesponsorshipcatalyst and on LinkedIn.
