In Photoshop there is an effect the spotlight effect. This effect, say, is used to highlight a particular person in a given group of people or to highlight a particular activity of a person. In this podcast we discuss a spotlight effect that is intrinsically ingrained within us which makes us aware and alerts us in an ongoing manner hinting that everyone is watching us, judging us, and evaluating us. And, based on that assumption, all our actions, emotions, and behaviours emerge. Is the spotlight really present, or it's an effect we unwarrantedly have added?
