The State of College Baseball is a press conference held annually at the College World Series in Omaha, Nebraska. The press conference was held on Friday afternoon, the day prior to the start of the CWS. This year the participants included Ron Prettyman, NCAA managing director for championships and alliances; Division I Baseball Committee chair Scott Sidwell, University of San Francisco director of athletics; and Craig Keilitz, executive director of the American Baseball Coaches Association.

The trio answered questions that centered on a variety of topics, including pace of play, adding a third assistant coach at the Division I level, and the parity found throughout college baseball.
