Yixiang Xu, the New Research Initiative Fellow at the American Institute for Contemporary German Studies (AICGS), spoke to us about Chinese responses to the coronavirus pandemic, data, 5G, transatlantic trade, and U.S. and European approaches to China in the 21st century.
