This week our Boys discuss the FAI's plans to save the Eircom League/League of Ireland during the mid-2000s. They look at the often forgotten Genesis II Report ( or the White Paper on the Strategic Direction of the Eircom League) which detailed how poorly run the League was at this point. Really important retrospection on why Irish players struggled to develop during this point, why domestic teams suffered and, ultimately, why the League of Ireland is currently in a resurgence
