“We are tired” and “Enough has already been enough.” is how many of us feel about recent murders of innocent and unarmed blacks, George Floyd, Breonna Taylor and Ahmaud Abery have acquired global attention sparking protest in hopes to combat police brutality. We are also able to address the psychosocial impact of these murders on the black communities and why we can no longer settle for survival. As we conclude Season 1, we want to reiterate the notion that we are Black Responsibility and we are advocates for change; but change cannot and will not be achieved if we accept that this is all that we can do for our people collectively.
