Very good and . . .

This was a very good story and certainly very different from the usual romance, with a bit of surprise. I liked that it was from the male POV, and one who was quite sensitive and nice. But what I really loved was the character Marlys. She is witty, smart, straight forward, and so likeable. I would recommend this to anyone who likes to read something new once in a while and not the same ol' love story. I don't think it will disappoint.

"The Stillness of Winter" was amazing. Once I started reading I couldn't put the book down. The characters were vivid and real, people I could relate to. People I cared about. I found myself drawn into their lives until the very last page. Loved it.

Wow.......I Didn't See That Coming!!!!!!

I truly didn't know what to expect when I opened the pages of The Stillness of Winter. It has been a while since I sat down to read anything inclined to be "a love story" at all. I will say right off the top that I was pleasantly surprised with the twists and turns in this story. While the storyline has limited characters, I find that to be refreshing because it made story very easy to follow, as we were only concerned with the story through the main characters eyes and how he referenced his past and interacted with his present. As many readers, I have always relied upon my "I saw that coming" senses when I approach a new story, however, I didn't see that coming and once it did, I was hard pressed for a reason to put the book down until the story was finished. I have to admit that many of my reading sessions were concluded only when my phone/tablet would slip from my hands after I had fallen asleep mid-paragraph. I truly hope that Mr.
