Second, it reminds us of God's goodness and generosity, proven by the fact He gave us the enjoyment of taste buds, delighting in giving us good things. Third, our hunger points to our responsibility toward others, mirroring God's care by feeding and serving those around us. Finally, the threat of starvation makes us hunger for eternal sustenance, which is found only in Jesus Christ, the Bread of Life (John 6:35).
