The Readings for the 33rd Sunday in Ordinary Time: Mal 3:19-20a; Luke 21:5-19
We are nearing the end of the liturgical year, and so the readings have a feel of looking toward the end of time. But are they really? In fact, they have already happened. And are happening right now. And will happen then, too, whenever "then" is. For our worlds are continually changing and ending and beginning. There is only One constant.
