EPISODE 8: The Storm Dragon  

In this episode, we get to listen to a powerful story called "The Storm Dragon". It’s about a little girl on vacation in the mountains and must face a terrible storm of intimidation. I think you’ll really like it. No matter how small you seem and how big your circumstances of fear are, there is still the opportunity to see into the deep and find your hidden treasures. After we present the Legend we get to discuss it with our guest and learn more about our life in this story.  I wrote this story many years ago for a little girl named Bethany in a church class of elementary kids that met on Wednesday evenings in Northridge, California. I was working with teacher Linda LaRue and we were using these prophetic stories to speak to the kid’s hearts. It was a special and important time where I got to connect with the kids and really father them. When I did this volunteer work, I got to discover my authentic voice: Fathering Through Film. Bethany at the time was a lovely young, little girl but I remember her having a spirit of courage and wisdom in her.  My guest is Melissa Otis, she is someone who truly understands facing fears and is here to discuss our Legend.  VIDEO Today’s guest is my friend Melissa Otis.
