Based on that article from Life Magazine, SimoneRenaud started receiving letters from American parents, and wives of servicemen asking Simone Renaud to take pictures of their loved one’s graveside and asked her to place flowers on their graves for them.
Simone Renaud corresponded with families for 44 years then her sons took over.
