Story of Opium -  A mouse who keeps a sage's company asks for boons to change itself into different animals: cat, dog, ape, wild boar, elephant and finally, into a queen when it falls into a well and dies. What grows from the soil under which she is buried is an opium plant. Opium which heals and also intoxicates.
