In 1850, Father Emmanuel Domenech was given an ancient document, containing many pages of strange drawings and symbols. He became convinced it was a long-lost Native American manuscript.  In 1860, he published a lengthy book about it. Unfortunately, he was wrong.  Embarrassingly wrong.
