🇺🇦 What can we say about Ukrainian identity while exploring the story of Donbas?

The Donbas pulsed within Ukrainian values, though some caveats, neatly prepared by russia, inflamed the sense of national identity of the people, native to the region. It’s not a coincidence.

As Orwell puts it, “Who controls the past controls the future”. Russia did want to engrave russianness artificially - and did it in the past. Now the history repeats itself, and once again russia encourages the russian world in Donbas.
