Wynand continues with our current series - The Story of Us. We have seen that humans are deeply anxious because of our separation from God, and we try to address this anxiety by taking matters in our own hands.  We become self-obsessed in our attempt to deal with this anxiety, but we fall into the traps of self-importance and self-justification.

This week, Wynand looks at how self-deceit grows out of a sense of self-importance and our need to justify ourselves. In Christ, we can face the truth about ourselves and therefore Paul encourages us in Romans 12 vv1-3 that we must have our minds transformed in Christ.  In 2 Corinthians 10 vv4-5; Paul shows us how this can happen.
