This is a heavy subject, right?

But you know what makes it even heavier?

The fact that it's not frequently and openly discussed.

Why is that?

I know a few people who have experienced challenges with fertility, and you know what they've told me? The fact that this topic is NOT frequently talked about is a part of what made their experience even MORE difficult.

The more we talk about things, the more "normal" it becomes. And the less alone people feel.

In this episode, my friend Tina openly discusses her experience (and her husband's experience) with infertility. And I think it's a conversation that you need to hear. Because even if you haven't experienced this yourself, chances are you know someone who has.

And when we become informed about a situation or experience we ourselves have no knowledge of, or experience with, it allows us the opportunity to have even more compassion and empathy for those who are different from us.

And that is what I believe the world is desperately in need of.
