Our guest on The XR Magazine Show for today is a local artist who is utilizing virtual reality to communicate his images with students on the other side of the world.
Meet Steve Head, an award-winning artist's work that tackles tough issues such as child abuse, mental illness, suicide, poverty, childhood trauma, and generational family dysfunction. People from all over the world have been moved by this show. Teachers from nations outside the United States are bringing their students into an online VR art gallery to meet the artist and observe the exhibit using VR (virtual reality) platforms such as Oculus.
The purpose of this exhibit is to bring these topics out of the closet of shame and into the light. To openly talk about & share our hidden stories is the beginning of the healing process.
I’m excited about Steve's amazing project with us on The XR Mag Show.
Some of the highlights of our interview include the following:
What is the back story behind Steve Head that led to the creation of this beautiful gallery
What is the primary goal of this gallery?
The best advice Steve can provide to those who have been abused.
Please let me know what you find interesting from this unique interview.
