On a hot day in July 1993, Bill Roland headed out with his extended-cab pickup truck and a 24-foot pontoon boat for his lake house near Lake Sam Rayburn, with a fishing trip in mind. When Bill failed to return home as planned on July 21st, 1997, his wife reported him missing. The day after Christmas, on a cold night in Marshall, Texas, 49-year-old Beverly Marshall wandered from her nursing home and vanished.
