Working with a brand photographer might look different than what you expected. Having a photographer that just shows up and takes pictures will only get you so far.
After investing time, energy, and money into a photoshoot, you want to have a photographer who does more for your business.
Commercial and brand photographer, Jenna Joann, tells her clients just that. "
"There's lots of different touch points that you have to make with your client. If you're out there and you say, 'It's time for me to hire a photographer, I'm ready to work with somebody,' find somebody that's going to communicate with you and really understand and get that deep level knowledge of your brand."
The more your brand photographer knows about you and your business, the better equiped they are to capture your brand.
Whether you hire a brand photographer to photograph you or your business products, it's crucial that your photographer has an understanding of your needs.
When working with products, Jenna ask questions like-
"What is this product? What are the ingredients made in it? I'm literally taking apart the product in my mind. So I'm looking at whatingredients are in it. What's the color of this product? What is this product used for? How does it smell? How does it make me feel?"
Because at the end of the day, you aren't necessarily selling a product, but rather how that product is going to make you feel.
Which is why brand photography is catgorized as a business investment, rather than a business expense.
With brand photography you get a return on what you spend. Not only are you able to sell more of your offers but you are able to be more confident and show up in a different way in your business.
