The Stresses and Strains of Engineering ft. Tony Vo

Listen Later

Today, we are honoured to have the opportunity to hear from one of our favourite educators, the incredible Tony Vo!

As the current Director of Education for the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering and previous Director of First-Year Studies, we will delve into Tony's career trajectory and the valuable lessons he has learned along the way.

We will also explore the academic pressures of engineering, including the stigmatisation of asking for help and how to finish your university degree in a way that aligns with your current abilities or capacity to do so.

As usual, huge shoutout to Radio Monash for allowing us to use their recording facilities so that we can sound EXTRA crisp in ya ears! Check out their socials on insta: @radiomonash and their website to listen to the livestream and find out ways that you too can utilise these recording studios as a Monash student: https://www.radiomonash.online/
