For many of us, strength becomes part of our identity. We identify as the encouragers, caregivers, and dependable ones who carry more than most people realize. Sometimes, that strength can also show up as hyper-independence—the belief that we have to handle everything on our own, ask for little, and carry burdens in silence. But even the strong friend needs support.
In this episode, I share lessons I’ve been learning about vulnerability, trust, receiving love, and allowing myself to be seen beyond the role of “the strong one.”
