In 1 Peter chapter 3, the Apostle points to Sarah, Abraham’s wife, as a shining example of Godly submission in marriage. Though Sarah was flawed just like the rest of us, God used her mightily. Sarah was able to submit to her husband even in very difficult circumstances because she trusted the Lord with the outcome. In today’s message, Pastor David encourages wives to trust the Lord as Sarah did. As Godly wives lean on Jesus, they can answer the Biblical call to submission to their husbands because they know that God is faithful.
