Our whole lives, we are taught about success as if it can be predicted with math. If we just work hard enough. If we just know enough. If we are just good enough. We can guarantee victory. That lie governs most of the behaviors I see in modern people.

We've known for centuries that this isn't true. But, with a media industry run by get-rich-quick cowards who also know that the human animal is addicted to listening to storytellers....

And here we are...

In a world where everyone is chasing success. But only a few people ever find it because most people chasing it and talking about it wouldn't know what it was if it bit them on the nose.
