Jesus, alone, took on our sin and its penalty to bring us peace with God. Through the powerful imagery of the Old Testament scapegoat, we see how Jesus literally carries away our guilt, shame, and sin—removing them completely from our lives. His mission was accomplished perfectly, and now He offers forgiveness, freedom, and eternal life to all who trust in Him.
